The art of being whistled at.
Boys, listen up, some of us girls to not like being whistled at. Personally, it makes me feel like I’m some sort of dog who’s attention your trying to get. I would enjoy it a lot more if you would come up to me and just say that I look nice.
Please, get some class, people. I’m not a feminist. I’m not insisting that we be treated equal to man, etc. I just want to be respected as a woman.
Yes, attention is nice, but I’d rather you express it in a more classical manner. One time I actually had a guy come up to me and say that I was beautiful and asked if I’d like to accompany him to a movie. He was much older than me, and I was with my mom, so I obviously said no.
That was one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me. He was so sweet and nice, and he didn’t whistle at me once.
If you guys are afraid to speak to us and tell a random woman that she’s beautiful or sexy, you should be more afraid of the repercussions of whistling at a woman.
