There’s so much more to learn

I’m currently 19years old and I’m an English major at Florida International University. I plan on transferring to the University of Florida as soon as I can, basically, and then I would love to go overseas to London to continue my studies. 

I’ve had Type 1 Diabetes for 18 years now. Yes, I was basically born with it, and no, I didn’t eat a lot of sugar. I’m a co-author of another blog called The Diabetes Network. You should go follow it.

I don’t really know what else to say. I’m an old soul born into a young body. I love to read, and I read as much as I can with as much time as I’m given. I was obsessed with my cat Toby, but he passed away December 30, 2012. Now I have little cutie named Anakin. I drink tea  a lot. I’m very stubborn, but passionate about anything and everything I do.

I’m a dreamer, and an outlandish one at that. I have extravagant plans for the future, and whenever someone tells me that “plans don’t always work out” I simply respond…

“At least I have a plan and a sense of direction.”
